Taking the time to learn about Black history allows us to challenge what we learned in history, dig deeper, and find out the actual events of the past that most of us were not taught in schools.

Knowing our history allows us to know about, celebrate, and honor Black celebrities. Many of these celebrities endured sacrifice and suffering and must be observed.
